OUR WOOLSHED HOSTEL

Situated on a 40acre farm, the Surf & Sun accommodation is set amongst native bush, on the property Kaiwarra at Seal Bay Tourist park. The property Kaiwarra was the original Kaiwarra Post Office from 1909 to 1915, and the original Kaiwarra Cottage (now a cafe) was built in 1873. This historic property has cabins, a cafe, Surf & Sun Accommodation, farm land and bush surrounding a winter lagoon. The accommodation also boasts loads of native scrub and lots of native wildlife including echidnas, wallaby's, goanna, kangaroo's, possums and koalas only 50metres from the front door.The neighbouring 4000 acre property is used for cropping and make for beautiful views.

The rooms are 4 and 6 bed dorms.

You have the option of sleeping in comfy beds or in cosy swags under the stars, under a koala in a tree of by the camp fire and Surf & Sun provide you with all the linen.

The accommodation has inside and outside campfires with plenty of marshmallows to toast, native bush land and a winter lagoon.

The accommodation has loads of books, comfy couches and hammocks to relax in. You can walk under the trees and hang out with the koalas or stoke up the fire and look at the stars.

The accommodation is a unique and fun place to relax and unwind after an action packed day on Kangaroo Island.
