BOAT AND FERRY TO THE ISLAND
Surf
& Sun use 2 different modes of transport to get to and
from the island depending on what adventure you are on. The
trip takes around 45 minutes across backstairs passage with
beautiful views of Kangaroo Island and the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The
dolphin charter boat
Our
3 day wildlife adventure uses a 32 foot charter boat exclusive
to Surf & Sun to transport our groups to and from the
island. With the added advantage of leaving when we want to
rather than the scheduled ferry departures the flexibility
and adventure of our charter boat means when the dolphins
are about then we can spend more time with them on the water.
The
Sealink Ferry
Used
on our 2 day wildlife experience the sealink ferry offers
a comfortable 45 minute ride to Kangaroo Island with cofortable
seats and a bar and cafe it is an excellent way to get to
Kangaroo Island. We also use the ferry on our 3 Day adventure
when it is too rough to travel on our charter boat.
