About Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures

Surf & Sun Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures commenced operations on Kangaroo Island in November 2003 and has fast secured its position as a leader in Kangaroo Island Tours. Recently renaming itself to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures, Surf & Sun Kangaroo Island is a part of the Adventures Beyond Group which is a Nationally Accredited Tourism Business – Eco Accredited Tourism Business, and a Licensed Operator with the Department for Environment and Heritage.

Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures operate unique Kangaroo Island tours including exclusive activities such as kayaking, Snorkelling, Hiking, Sand Boarding, Body Boarding, and more.

Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures is owned and managed by Luke Talbot-Male. Luke’s experience in the tourism industry has included assisting in Sea Kayak Tours in Byron Bay, operating Outback desert camel expeditions for any where up to 40 days in the Simpson Desert and Great Victoria Desert and Flinders Ranges, 4WD vehicle expeditions in the Great Sandy desert, Flinders Ranges, Simpson Desert and other locations in Australia as well as operating Boat trips down the flooded desert rivers to Lake Eyre when in flood, Warburton creek and Georgina River as well.

Luke decided to commence Surf & Sun in 2001 as he launched new and untried adventure tourism products in South Australia as a Surf School and Sea Kayak company and now the Adventures Beyond Group as it is known today operate Team Building activities, Learn to Surf in South Australia, Vehicle Tours, a Snow & Surf Travel Agent, School Camps and Kangaroo Island Tours.

Adventures Beyond has won numerous awards including Best Adventure Tourism and Best Tour Operator in the 2007 and 2008 South Australian Tourism Awards and most recently Best Tour and Transport Operator 2009 South Australian Tourism Awards and continues to promote itself as a market leader on Kangaroo Island.
