The Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures are very excited to be the only company with exclusive access to stay in the heritage listed wildlife sanctuary.  The Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is home to Kanagroo Islands Koala walk and the original homestead offer both options of sleeping in shared style accommodation or out under the stars in a Australian swag (bed roll with canvas and mattress).  Located at the Western End of Kangaroo Island this property is home to numerous wildlife including Koalas in the trees next to the accommodation, Kangaroos, Echidna, Wallaby, Goanna, Possums and more.  There is so much wildlife in the sanctuary you are guaranteed of seeing koalas, kangaroo's Cape Barron Geese, possums and wallabies.

Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures provide all linen, there is an inside and outdoor Camp fire and comfy couches, beautiful native bush land to explore and there are also double / twin upgrades available – you just need to request this upon booking. (Upgrades are $60 per night for the room so $30 per person twin share).

The homestead even has a full size billiard table and is the perfect place to relax and unwind after an action packed Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures day.  Sit on the couches, read a book or exploring this amazing sanctuary in search for wildlife!
