About Learn to Surf SA

Surf & Sun Surf School commenced in 2001 essentially for the backpacker market in South Australia.  Owner of Surf & Sun Luke Talbot-Male soon discovered there was a Surf School required regularly at Middleton Beach for schools, corporate groups and the general surfing population and our Licensed Surfing Australia Surf School was born.  Surf & Sun’s Learn to Surf SA now operates as the leading surf school in South Australia, providing Learn to Surf day trips, Learn to Surf Weekender and 3, 4 and 5 day Learn to Surf South Australia camps staying at the picturesque Port Elliot.

Surf & Sun surf school is also utilised as a component of the Surf & Sun Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventures which departs to Kangaroo Island daily.

Surf & Sun participate in the Rip Curl Girls Go Surfing Day, the Roxy Girls Surfing Day and other events on the surfing calendar.

Surf & Sun prides itself on providing the best Surfing experience in South Australia and over the past years has won the 2009 Best Tour Operator Award, the 2008 Best Adventure Tourism Award and 2007 Best Tour Operator Award in the South Australian Tourism Awards.  Surf & Sun has also been a finalist in the National Golden Backpack Awards for Best Tour / Experience.
