Silver Medal Winner: 32nd South Australian Tourism Awards
19 December, 2016
Surf and Sun Australia bags the silver medal for the Adventure Tourism category of the 32nd South Australian Tourism Awards.
This award is presented by the South Australian Tourism Industry Council (SATIC). They are an award giving body that’s been celebrating the success and achievements of South Australia’s tourism businesses for the past 32 years.
Surf & Sun’s tour packages and surf lessons in Australia created an opportunity for many people, locals and tourists alike, to experience the fun that South Australia has to offer. The company started with the goal of being able to share the love for surfing to people who are interested in learning it. Having been exposed to the natural beauty of the region through surfing, branching out to adventure tour operations was the next step that made Surf & Sun Australia more active in the tourism industry of South Australia.
Working for the tourism industry in the region over the years was a great experience that Surf and Sun wants to showcase in their adventure tours and surf lesson products. The goal of highlighting South Australia’s great beauty and unique activities that you can experience is what drives us to be more creative with the products that we offer to our customers. This national recognition from the tourism council that we received recently will serve as motivation for us to be more innovative as a tourism operator.
Surf & Sun, together with all staff and employees, is looking forward to more opportunities to carry out exploration tours and surf lessons to tourists and locals who want to visit South Australia. Winning the silver medal for the Adventure Tourism category is a great acknowledgement for the hard work that everyone from our staff puts forward.
Teaching curious and interested students how to surf has been a passion that we always want to impart. This month, staff from the show Adelady visited us for a quick surf lesson in Adelaide. Here’s the short feature of Surf & Sun in a local television program.
